Monkey Bread

Combine in large bowl & make a well:
12 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered milk
4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. yeast in 1 c. lukewarm water

Mix the following then combine with above mixture:
1 qt. of warm water
1 c. melted crisco
2 beaten eggs

Stir then cover with a towel for about an hour. Roll out and cut into round circles. Line up in pan after dipping in melted butter. Raise for an hour. Bake 20-30 min at 350 until golden brown.

My mom used to make dozens of these loaves at a time. It was so fun to help by cutting the circles and then dipping them in butter. I was a nasty girl and would lick the melted butter off of my fingers. I loved eating this bread with her homemade strawberry jam. Mmmm!
