Quick Potato Bread

Wendy Crofts
¾ c. Warm Water
½ c. Mashed Potatoes (instant potatoes work)
2 T. Sugar
1 tsp. Salt
1 pkg Yeast (2 ¼ tsp)
6 T. Soft Shortening
2-2 ¼ c. Flour

Mix together milk and potatoes. Mix potatoes and water, then yeast. Stir until dissolved. Add dry ingredients and mix until easy to handle. Knead 5-8 minutes. Shape into shaptes. Place in greased pan. Let rise 45-60 min. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
